Gourmand Awards - Mapa da Cachaça
Mapa da Cachaça ganha Gourmand Awards

 

The Gourmand World Cookbook Award é uma competição gratuita e aberta para livros sobre gastronomia publicados em diversos idiomas e países. Fundada em 1995 por Edouard Cointreau, presidente da Paris Cookbook Fair, o prêmio celebra todos os anos as publicações que se destacam em suas categorias. Em 2015, o Mapa da Cachaça foi destaque em três categorias com a publicação Cachaça e Gastronomia, lançada durante a Copa do Mundo em parceria com o Ministério da Cultura: Melhor livro do Ano, Spirits (Destilados) e Harmonização com Comida.

A edição de 2015 teve um aumento significativo de inscrições com 70 países participantes apenas na categoria Vinho e Bebidas. Um total de 50 países se qualificaram para participar da competição mundial como o Melhor Livro do Ano – o Mapa da Cachaça irá representar o Brasil! Os resultados serão anunciados  no dia 8 de junho em Yantai, a capital do vinho da China.
